dunmeshiLet's all get to know each other! I am hoping to create a supportive community welcoming to all types of fans, so I think it would be nice to introduce ourselves. Here is a suggested template, if you're not sure what to say (feel free to add or ignore questions as you please!):

Date: 2025-01-01 08:06 am (UTC)How did you get into the fandom? After seeing a lot of my tumblr mutuals talk about it, I decided to group-watch it with my friends! Since that fateful day, I have become, as they say, "sick in the head".
What corners of the fandom do you spend the most time in? (Examples: corners focusing on certain characters, ships, fanwork types...) My field of expertise is Kabru, without a doubt. But I have minors in shipping and meta analysis of the themes of disability and oppression.
Do you create fanworks? If so, what kind, and where can we see them? I make fanart, but I haven't made any Dunmeshi fanart yet. I have uploaded a few Kabru-centric Dunmeshi fics to
Where did you hear about this community? What are you hoping to do or find here? I made it! I really wanted to find other Dungeon Meshi fans on Dreamwidth to talk about the series with, and there weren't any Dunmeshi communities yet at all. I also wanted to create a fun, supportive environment for fans to share our passion for the series!
Is there anything else you'd like to share? I'm autistic, and otherwise disabled, so please be patient with me.

Date: 2025-04-09 05:42 pm (UTC)How did you get into the fandom?: I had a few tumblr mutuals recommend it to me, I picked the manga up a few years back and got my gf into it by watching the anime as it came out!
What corners of the fandom do you spend the most time in? (Examples: corners focusing on certain characters, ships, fanwork types...): I'm definitely more of a gen person than a shippy one in this fandom! I do enjoy farcille and labru, but my favorite works are ones about the platonic and found family dynamics in the series :) I also love fanworks (especially fanart) that play with the dark fantasy elements of the story. My favorite characters are Izutsumi and Thistle!
Do you create fanworks? If so, what kind, and where can we see them?: I do fanart, which I need to be brave and start posting more of!
Where did you hear about this community? What are you hoping to do or find here?: I found it by searching interests! I'm hoping to chat with people about dunmeshi, find cool fanworks, and make some friends :>
Is there anything else you'd like to share?: I've also made a few dungeon meshi cosplays, i'm especially proud of my Thistle cosplay! I patterened and sewed everything myself and learned how to resin cast so I could make the little coins at the bottom of their skirt coin bugs!
